An ATS internship is designed to identify dedicated, professional college students with high potential who will work in a learning position within the company on a temporary basis. The internship is located in our ATS office in Schaumburg, IL.
Responsibilities to Include:
We are looking for an IT Sales and Marketing-Junior Graphic Design Intern who can work closely in a team environment and provide design and creative support. The Junior Graphic Design Intern will work on diverse creative projects in line with ATS hardware brand strategy and plans. Deliverables include designing brochures, feature sheets, creating graphics and icons; creating/supporting website, social, and aligning all forms of external facing graphics with brand guidelines.
Thinks creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
Takes marketing approved content and copy, and purpose into brochures, feature sheets, eBooks, white papers and varying forms of layouts and other deliverable
Creates new engaging and relevant designs, imagery and icons that visually capture the desired messaging
Maintains library of collateral, graphics, stock photos and company-shared resources
Supports Events, Campaigns, Social and Advertising deliverable with compelling visuals and layouts to fit desired mediums
Obtains approval of concepts by submitting layouts for review
Amends and prepare approved layouts for outside vendors according to specifications, with appropriate bleeds and required file types, within set deadlines
Collaborates and share ideas with marketing team including copywriters, campaign specialists, web developers, management etc.
Qualifications to Include:
Strong overall marketing skills and a creative vision
1 - 3 years of graphic design, web design, video editing and production experience, preferably in an agency or B2B corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of graphics and design fundamentals
Proficiency and knowledge of the Graphic Design programs such as: Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat
Possesses an eye for visual detail and consistency
Expert understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain flexible through revisions
Portfolio across a variety of industries and deliverable is required
Ability to meet tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Demonstrates originality and creative drive to develop graphically relevant designs
Additional Skills Strongly Preferred:
