A successful intern will establish a well-designed space and procedural method to streamline the conceptualizing, preproduction, shooting, production, and publishing of product demonstration videos for use within multiple media channels. These channels include short, concise, customer-facing product demonstration videos for Lawson Central, MS Teams, YouTube, Lawson website and mobile phone content.
Potential production of product performance video segments for use within training modules on Lawson University, as well as support for Communications.
This project is comprised of three subprojects:
Assist in the shooting, editing, and production of product demonstration videos
Establish a process to streamline the conceptualizing, preproduction, shooting, production, and publishing of product demonstration videos
Develop a design for a video production studio and a list of necessary equipment
Duties include but are not limited to:
Publish video content to the Web, including on the CRM Customer Center, youtube.com, and other web properties.
Archive and organize video and graphic asset library and final video files.
Recommendation of essential equipment for the planning/development of a video production studio
A streamlined process for video concept development and production
A minimum of 6 customer-facing product demonstration videos
An individual will hone the following video production skills:
Production studio design
Video production process development
Product-specific video creation
Learn (or sharpen existing skills) to identify key product features that demonstrate effectively on video, and produce short/ concise video segments to highlight those features to customers.
Proficiency with this activity will increase marketability to corporate customers.
Video production skills that include lighting, staging, audio, camera operation.
Pre-production planning, scouting, and script writing experience;
Video editing and other post-production work such as color correction, audio, and video and motion graphics.
Editing software skills, Adobe Creative Cloud preferred;
Experience with archival and backup methods for video related files;
Set up and tear down of all video equipment so some lifting is required.
Please be advised, this position requires frequent travel to our McCook, IL Distribution Center. You are responsible for transportation to and from this facility.
