Rush University Medical Center presents an opportunity for Student Interns in the Health IT Apprenticeship Program. The Health IT Apprentices participate in on-the-job career training in the summer development session Monday through Friday under the direct instruction of professionals within the Rush University Medical Center IT Department. Students learn how to perform job-specific tasks while gaining an understanding of day-to-day operations within their assigned department. The individuals who hold this position exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
- Information Systems: Students will perform projects using basic computer skills. Students will be accountable team members, meet agreed upon deliverables and deadlines, and communicate clearly with peers and management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Students have minimally completed their sophomore year at Crane High School
Students display high level work habits, job readiness skills, and appropriate ethical and professional behaviors.
Students possess basic computer skills and knowledge.
This is a temporary position open to Crane High School students only.
