This individual will support the marketing team in implementing a range of global marketing tactics, from social media to assisting with client events while also supporting the development, distribution, and promotion of our publications.Key RelationshipsMarketing ManagersMarketing CoordinatorsMarketing Team (Design, Editorial, Web)Chief Marketing OfficerOffice Admin Managers and Executive AssistantsKey Responsibilities Support marketing managers in the execution of practice marketing programs across a variety of industries and geographies. Support planning and implementation for client events by identifying potential venues, maintaining attendance lists, serving as the liasion with vendors, managing logistics, shipping relevant materials, etc. Provide project management support to ensure follow-through and timely delivery on all initiatives. Provide PowerPoint support for client pitches, internal meetings, and client events, ensuring application of corporate branding guidelines. Support the editorial and web teams by proofreading employee biographies, intellectual capital and other documents to ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, context, and references with consistency across Firm standards and styles. Promote and support distribution of marketing materials to Spencer Stuart offices around the world while also fielding requests, sometimes urgent, for project support and collateral needs. Assist in preparing client and prospect mailing lists, both electronic and print, for newsletters, studies, event invitations, etc. Monitor, analyze and report on social media engagement and growth; assist with competitor research and monitor new digital and social media platforms. Assist in developing, executing and reporting on email marketing campaigns. This will include bringing an analytical rigor to the creation and measurement of the firm's various email campaigns. Work with the editorial and design teams to develop compelling marketing deliverables that encourage click-throughs and drive website traffic. Assist in developing both internal and external surveys distributed by the Firm. Assist with administrative tasks as needed.Ideal Experience Minimum junior standing at an undergraduate university or college required. Concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business preferred. Advanced PowerPoint skills with proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel and Word. Ability to create sharp, visually appealing and engaging collateral in PowerPoint (or other platforms as appropriate). Knowledge of and experience with various marketing channels, including digital marketing, print, direct mail, social media, web and events. Ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities and deadlines, exercise good judgment and work independently, as require d. Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when necessary. Demonstrated organizational, analytical and conceptual ability. Good verbal, written, listening and proofreading skills; attention to detail is a must.
