Our Chicago office is seeking an Intern to support the Transit & Rail group for the summer of 2018. This candidate should be enthusiastic and self-motivated and will be responsible for assisting technical staff in day-to-day project duties. The major projects involving intern support includes various transportation planning and design work.

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Intern I for our Chicago office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General engineering and/or planning support

  • CADD drafting

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours

  • Must possess an interest in transit & rail related projects and systems

  • Must be flexible to participate in field inspection work

  • Proficiency with CADD software, Microstation or AutoCad preferred.

  • Proficiency with MS Office software

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
