CME Group is currently looking for a Global Data Licensing Services summer intern.
This candidate will assist the Market Technology and Data Services department on day-to-day activities in support of Derived Data Licensing. This will include data analysis, report generation, and ad-hoc projects.
Analyzes historical trends using statistics and programming languages to provide recommendations on how to increase revenue or reduce costs.
Collaborates with business to refine projects goals and help solve real business challenges.
Collaborates with technology for data access and data interpretations.
Works in team environment to develop models and reports that can be deployed, operationalized and used by the business.
Designs and implements creative approaches to identifying customer and competitive insights.
Assists with the production of timely market insight pieces for internal and external distribution.
Skills / Software Requirements:
Understands basics of dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
Reporting and analysis.
Developing statistics and insights to support performance reporting.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or related field.
Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills.
Organized, self-starter, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
Currently pursuing a BA/BS or Masters/Advanced Degree.
Preferred majors: Math, Statistic, Finance or Economics.
3.0 Minimum GPA required.
