Job Description

The HR Intern provides quality HR compliance and administrative support to The HR Team. This support is based from The HR Team office. Interns are responsible for maintaining satisfied work by delivering assistance and administrative support to HR generalists and management on various projects.


  • Assist with data entry into the HRIS, assist with scanning in documents to HRIS

  • Research and collect data for HR initiativies surronding communications

  • Maintaining HR file room as needed, including filing documents, managing I-9 file system and archiving files as necessary. Creating and maintaining employee files

  • Assists in company communication efforts to employees

  • Conduct research on HR-related activities that the organization is considering and make recommendations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills


  • Students completing their sophomore or junior year working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (preferred), Business, or related field required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and/or independently in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Skilled in effective research tactics

  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
