Area of Expertise:

Provide technical/administrative support to various areas of the supply chain management group to include materials and distribution, procurement and commodity management.

Typical Roles/Area of Focus:

Incumbent’s responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:

 Support - Planning/Inventory/Distribution/Procurement

Level of Responsibility:

 Under minimal supervision of Supply Chain mentor performs varied and moderately complex tasks

 Applies semi-advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area

 May adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position

 Work/Lead ACE projects assigned

 Engage in and support Commodity Team Meetings and Green Belt/LSS projects as needed.

 Implement forecasting and supply planning process improvements

 Improve interfaces between teams.

 Forecast future requirements for suppliers.

 Assist with period reporting.

 Report and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s).

 Project management services for process improvement and technology solutions

 Provide summaries and analyses

 Assist in coordinating the workflow of custom configured options requests.

 Set-up new items into demand planning.

 Test linking to other pyramids and verify data integrity.

 Document new processes.

 Assist with a wide variety of inventory and inventory control functions.

 Reconcile physical stock count against perpetual quantity.

 Maintain cycle count logs for each branch plant.

 Analyze various types of data and recommend costs savings by analyzing warehouse proficiencies.

 Drive Continuous Improvement using Lean Six Sigma

 Define improvement initiatives

 Map operational processes

 Assist in implementing improvements
