This job was posted by : For more information, please see: JOB SUMMARY: Perform special projects as assigned and also assist the marketing team in daily activities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

+ Complete projects according to individual specifications

+ Work with team members to communicate requirements of assigned projects

+ Perform routine audits of customer information and data to determine areas of growth and focus for the management team

+ Develop report and metrics to identify areas of success as well as areas that need additional support and improvement

+ Help establish standardized reporting tools that can be utilized to provide internal and external customers with data to manage their business

+ Research and provide industry data and trends to be analyzed and utilized by the organization

+ Provide miscellaneous reports for internal and external utilization on an as needed basis

+ Create standardized presentations to be used throughout the company when interacting with external customers

+ Help establish key markets to focus through the understanding of conditions in the market place combined with company's needs and capabilities

+ Other duties as assigned

+ Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the Hub organization, its customers and carriers in a manner that consistently produces results

+ Knowledge of various Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel and Word

+ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

+ Experience in the transportation industry is preferred but not required

+ Must be enrolled in a marketing, transportation, logistics, or supply chain undergraduate degree program for the duration of the internship

Our summer internship runs from May 2018 to August 2018. It is 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday. To qualify you must be an undergraduate student for the duration of the internship.
