+ Assist with dispatching customer load tender requests


+ Assist with handling customers load tracing requests


+ Communicate effectively with vendors, and Hub customer service


+ Work with the Marine Container Solutions team to approve or deny accessorial charges to vendors


+ Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned


+ Assist with set up and onboarding of new carriers


+ Other duties as assigned


+ Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for the duration of the internship


+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively interface with vendors and internal personnel


+ Strong organization skills


+ Analytical skills


+ Transportation experience helpful, but not required


+ Ability to work with minimal supervision


+ Knowledge of various Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel and Word


Our summer internship runs from May 2018 to August 2018. It is 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday. To qualify you must be an undergraduate student for the duration of the internship.
