CVS Health Internal Audit - Undergrad Intern - NBMBAA in Northbrook, Illinois

Position Summary:

CVS Health offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 7 company. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. The Internal Auditdepartment is responsible for creating and following detailed audit proceduresto evaluate effectiveness of management controls. You will have theopportunity to have hands-on experience following detailed audit procedures toensure accuracy of financial information, and compliance to applicablepolicies and regulations. You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Build knowledge of business processes, objectives, risk and controls acrossmultiple business units

  • Work with Internal Audit Staff and Managers to plan, develop and executeassigned projects consistent with guidelines established in the Internal AuditStandards

  • Identify audit risks, obtain an understanding of processes and test controlsby performing substantive procedures

  • Provide support and assistance to the other auditors in the Department toprepare work papers and summarize results

  • Assess controls in conjunction with quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing

  • Perform ad hoc requests as prioritized per Internal Audit Management

  • Communicate effectively with Internal Audit and business unitmanagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program.

  • Demonstrated analytical, deductive, problem solving skills and attention to detail through course work/previous internships

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer Accounting or Finance major

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Adobe Professional

Education:

*Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a 4 year college or university
