The Learning & Development team provides curriculum development support to units within the Medicare and Federal Employee Programs (FEP) areas of the Anthem Government Business Division. Associates in the Medicare and FEP areas support both Clinical (Member care management, referrals, etc.) and Service Operations (Claims processing, member/provider phone inquiries, etc.) Curriculum development efforts range from New Hire onboarding to existing Associate new skill/cross-training and include a variety of content types (i.e. vILT, eCast, video, etc.)
The Learning & Development Intern's primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing instructional materials for instructor led courses and at least one additional course delivery type.
- PrimaConducts performance and instructional analysis for small and mid-sized projects.
- Develop and maintain instructional project plans for small and mid-sized projects.
- Evaluate instructional systems and materials.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer events.
- Create and/or edits graphical and auditory materials.
Producing micro-learning videos • Training simulations • Scenario-based assessments for online delivery • Experience developing for virtual-reality is a very big plus
Internship is a 6 month term, no benefits. Position will be Work-At-Home.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area, and enrollment in a graduate instructional systems design program (job experience is a plus). Knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD) and adult learning principles, including criterion-referenced Instruction methodology. Knowledge of iterative instructional development for multiple delivery methods (vILT, web-based, etc.).
Preferred: At least one advanced learning technology, web-based authoring tools, Camtasia, Articulate QuizMaker, Captivate, etc.
