Department Description This internship is part of a shared services learning organization that supports various departments within the company, including member/providers, sales, claims, correspondence, migrations, operations, clinical Medicaid and Medicare. This team includes instructional designers, document analysts, trainer, eLearning designers, learning consultants and learning technology consultants. We create all types of training including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced and on-demand learning solutions.
Description We are looking for an energetic, creative and innovator to join our team and learn from one of the largest healthcare insurance organizations in the nation. This person will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning solutions.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Interacts with stakeholders to ensure validity and usability of learning solution • Develops training materials to include syllabi, assessments, learner guides and documentation • Conducts needs analysis and evaluates effectiveness of learning solutions • Collaborates with others in the Learning and Development organization to ensure all learning objects adequately correlate and cross-reference each other for a seamless learning experience • Maintains and promotes approved standards for all learning objects • Conducts Content Walk Through sessions, meetings and other events • Participates in project teams and informal learning activities
Qualifications • Requires enrollment at an accredited college in the Junior year or higher pursuing a(n) education, instructional design, multi-media design, human resources and training, organizational development or other related degree program. • Prior experience with learning design software (Captivate, Storyline, Adobe Presenter, Articulate, FS Pro, etc.) strongly preferred.
